Abu Dhabi has just launched a new pass for tourists that includes unlimited bus travel, a SIM card with 10GB of data and discounts on the city’s major attractions.

Etihad passengers will receive the pass for free, while visitors travelling to the United Arab Emirates‘ capital with other airlines can purchase an Abu Dhabi Pass through theabudhabipass.com.

Alongside unlimited access to public buses, tourists will have 24-hour unlimited access to the hop-on-hop-off tourist bus network. Pass holders will also get a 15% discount on attractions such as Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace, and Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Tours are also available at a significant discount. For example, you can book onto a half-day Abu Dhabi tour for £28 (down from £40), an evening desert safari for £46 (down from £65), and 60-minute Corniche boat tour for £38 (down from £42).

Aysha Al Kaabi, Vice President Commercial Enablement & Engagement at Etihad Airways, said, “Our collaboration with DCT Abu Dhabi makes experiencing the emirate’s attractions more appealing than ever. By combining transport, connectivity, and attraction discounts in one digital pass, we’re making it simpler for visitors to enjoy Abu Dhabi‘s diverse experiences, from cultural discoveries to family entertainment.”

The pass is also available to those availing Etihad’s stopover programme, where passengers can get a complimentary hotel stay of up to two nights. In 2024, 85,000 people visited the city on the stopover programme, and the airline believe this number will increase to 130,000 this year.
