Layovers at Singapore‘s Changi Airport are always a dream, with so much to explore like the walking net, rain vortex and various gardens.
And your next layover is set to be even dreamier, as the airport has just launched a new tour to Sentosa Island.
The airport offers free tours to those with layovers upwards of five-and-a-half hours, with current options including the culture and heritage tour, which takes in Chinatown and Kampong Gelam, the city sights tour, which covers the historic Civic District and Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore River and Marina Bay Sands tour.
Now, visitors can book on for a two-and-a-half-hour tour of Sentosa, during which time they’ll learn about how the island transformed from a former British military base into the leisure destination it is today.
You’ll get to stroll along the beach, take in panoramic views from hilltop lookouts and visit key attractions like Resorts World Sentosa and Sensoryscape. You can also add-on a show at the Wings of Time Fireworks Symphony for an additional cost, too.
Interested? You can sign up for the tour in Terminal 2, near Gate F50, and terminal 3, near Gate A1-A8. The tour runs between 7pm and 9.30pm, and those with a departure flight after 11.30pm can sign up to allow time to clear security after your tour finishes.
For those with shorter layovers, there are also paid tours of the airport and the adjacent Jewel.
