Danny Weller

Danny Weller is a travel writer and multi-linguist with a particular interest in Spain, Morocco and the Middle East. He has lived in all three regions, including extended periods in Jordan, where he learnt Arabic, and writes about travel that goes beyond the surface, focusing on authentic encounters, local cultures and the art of slow travel. He is the author of Wild Guide Morocco (Wild Things Publishing), a comprehensive travel guide encouraging readers to venture off the beaten path and explore Morocco’s landscapes, customs and people with curiosity and respect. To write the book, Danny spent five months hitchhiking across the country, immersing himself in its diverse regions and traditions. His journalism has appeared in The Guardian, Game Rant, The Londoners, The Camden New Journal, 24/7 Valencia, and more. When not travelling, he writes on music, local affairs and politics, and his perfect holiday is filling up on local food and exploring the hidden gems of cities and countries.
