Along the Amalfi Coast, cliffs rise sharply from the Mediterranean while pastel-coloured fishing villages nestle in the coves below. You’ll take in ancient hillsides, a visit to Mount Vesuvius, and the remains of Pompeii, with time to explore some of the area’s most charming towns, including Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi itself. And you’ll traverse what is arguably the best coastal walk in the world: the aptly-named ‘Path of the Gods’.
2: Trek through Spain’s Picos de Europa

Picture a dramatic, mountainous landscape ruled by golden eagles and griffon vultures; this is the Picos de Europa, a vast range of peaks in northern Spain. The country’s oldest national park, boasts limestone crags, steep gorges and lush valleys, through which you’ll trek, eventually ascending to 2,214m. In the evenings, you’ll return to your welcoming base, the family-run Hotel Torrecerredo, which offers stunning panoramic views. Exodus also offers the option of following a more challenging itinerary, so you can tailor this trip to your level of fitness.
3: Discover Greece’s hilltop mountain villages

This is your opportunity to explore the real Greece, as you discover the island of Evia with walks through coastal paths, forests and gorges. A veritable hidden gem, it’s close to Athens, yet a world away, with old stone paths connecting quaint mountain villages. This walkers’ paradise offers unique history and an authentic atmosphere, as you pass Roman quarries, aqueducts, and Byzantine churches. Summer offers the chance to swim at a deserted beach or secret cove, while traditional waterfront tavernas make eating and drinking here a pleasure.
4: Hike the scenic trails around Mont Blanc in France

One of the country’s most challenging peaks, and the tallest mountain in the Alps, Mont Blanc and its surround mountains are nevertheless on many climbers’ bucket lists. Discover its wild beauty under the guidance of an International Mountain Leader, hiking its most panoramic trails. This will include the Chamonix Valley and Lac Blanc, as well as the opportunity to walk sections of the Mont Blanc Circuit, Europe’s greatest long-distance hiking trail. In the evenings, relax in a welcoming Alpine chalet, enjoying freshly cooked meals in a home-from-home ambience.

Follow one of the most striking and scenic routes along the Atlantic coast of Portugal between two of its most vibrant cities. Starting in Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city, you’ll follow flat or rolling cycling trails through a variety of landscapes, from sun-kissed beaches to colourful fishing villages.
