1. Deep-fried tarantula – Cambodia

Time to swallow your fear?

2. Deep-fried Coca Cola – USA

Defying all the laws of science – and good taste!

3. Deep-fried earthworms – Croatia

And they’re served in posh restaurants too.

4. Deep-fried Mars bar – Scotland

The original. And the best avoided.

5. Deep-fried cuy – Peru

We keep guinea pigs as pets. The Peruvians fry them.

6. French Fry Hot Dog – South Korea

What a concept. What a taste. What madness.

7. Deep-fried grasshoppers – Mexico

Pub snacks down Mexico way

8. Deep-fried orchids – Thailand
