Photo gallery: 9 captivating pictures of leopards
Remembering Wildlife is back with its fundraising campaign for a new photobook, Remembering Leopards. Here’s a preview of what’s to come…
The charity photobook series Remembering Wildlife is back with a fundraiser for their exciting next instalment, Remembering Leopards.
Featuring photographs donated from world-class photographs, the upcoming photobook is expected to be the largest yet, with more than 180 pages.
All nine sub-species of leopard will feature in the book. These include African, Amur, Arabian, Indian, Indochinese, North Chinese, Javan, Sri Lankan and Persian. Photographs of snow leopards and clouded leopards will also make an appearance.
Remembering Wildlife Founder and Producer Margot Raggett said: “Despite their adaptability, the global population and distribution of leopards is sadly in decline.
“They are now believed to be extinct in 23 of their 85 original range countries.
The Kickstarter campaign launched on 1 April, and raised its target fund of £20,000 within four minutes, and more than £100,000 on its first day.
Margot continued: “I’m blown away by the support our Kickstarter has had already and I promise everyone who has pledged their support that this will be the most beautiful book on leopards the world has ever seen.”
The book will be released on 8 October 2023. Go to the fundraising page to donate now, and pre-order your copy for £40.
