Classic trips

These are the tours we know and love, with G Adventures’ commitment to going off-piste when you feel like it. You’ll get all the highlights, great travel buddies, and unique accommodation.

Best of South Korea

As an emerging travel destination, South Korea promises a unique touring experience. Enjoy all the hallmarks of an unforgettable Asia holiday – rich culture, welcoming people, and that heady hustle and bustle – without the crowds. This eight-day itinerary takes you to the riverside capital of Seoul, weaving through Busan’s frenetic markets, and venturing into the Demilitarised Zone that divides North and South – all at a tempo to suit most fitness levels. You’ll also visit Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest in Asia, built in the 7th century and testament to humanity’s obsession with the stars.

Mayan Adventure: Mexico, Belize & Guatemala

There’s more to Central America beyond the beaches – no matter how enticing. Exploring authentic Yucatán, this 22-day adventure spans Belize, Guatemala, and southern Mexico, taking you from the Mayan Chichén Itzá, Palenque and Tikal ruins to colonial hubs like San Cristóbal de las Casas. Of course, it would be remiss to overlook the incredible marine life here, not to mention the laid-back, lazy pace of life that we just can’t get enough of. And then there’s cenotes in Merida and Playa del Carmen; a dip in these crystal-clear, freezing cold sinkholes is exhilarating.

Highlights of Madagascar

This tiny island packs an almighty punch. Led by your local CEO (Chief Experience Officer), you’ll embark on a 14-day tour of this isolated isle, immersing fully in the people, wildlife and landscapes. Indeed, one minute you can be relaxing on the beach, the next you’ll be cruising, trekking, or canoeing, often in search of those Madagascan icons: brown and ring-tailed lemurs. But while these lovable primates may be the star of the show, the support acts are equally extraordinary – especially in Isalo National Park, where waterfalls and wildlife await.

Peru Panorama

Wildlife, action and adventure: this 15-day tour has it all. It’s more physically demanding than most trips thanks to the Inca Trail trek, but the reward is well worth the effort. Tackle high-altitude hikes in search of alpacas, scan riverbanks for caimans, or roam the jungle for a glimpse of multicoloured macaws. The culture here is plentiful too, from the intoxicating markets to the ancient ruins – Machu Picchu being the crowning jewel. Crucially, G has been named the Best Inca Trail Tour Operator, with this tour alone employing over 500 locals.

Active adventures

Ready, set, explore! Whether you want to hike, bike or rappel your way through your destination of choice, G Adventures’ Active travel style brings the energy – and then some.

Ultimate Active Alaska

There’s a reason Alaska is known as The Last Frontier, and this two-week journey is here to show you just that. You’ll hike to glaciers, kayak past ‘bergs and drifting brash ice, and camp amid otherworldly wilderness, lulled to sleep by the sounds of chittering nocturnal creatures. Explore pretty Valdez, venture from rainforest to tundra in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park – America’s largest – and spend two full days scouring Denali for moose, grizzlies and wolves. Here you can even tag on activities like rafting or a scenic glacier flight for added thrills.

Hiking in Madeira

Madeira is typically known for its blissful climate and the equally blissful grape-growing conditions it creates, but this six-day hiking adventure shows a different (arguably more blissful) side. With a little effort – and a decent pair of walking boots – you’ll discover lava-sculpted landscapes, challenging hikes that end in beautiful private beaches, and adrenaline-pumping ascents, like the scramble to Pico do Arieiro’s summit. Soaring skyward for 1,818m, this is Madeira’s third highest peak, famed for its heart-stopping views above the clouds and for being a killer sunrise spot.

Biking Cuba

Cuba is one of the best places to put your pedal power to the test – as this eight-day active tour proves. Admire limestone hills as you roll through the Garden Province of Pinar del Río, explore Cueva de los Portales – the country’s largest cave network and once used by Che Guevara – and navigate the Ancón peninsula coastline to reach the white, squeaky sands of Playa Ancón. And of course, no trip to Cuba would be complete without a trip to a tobacco farm to learn the art of cigar rolling.

Vietnam Hike, Bike & Kayak

By bike, boat or on foot, this 10-day itinerary is a thing of dreams for active adventurers. You’ll explore Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, but it’s the bits in-between that get the pulse racing: kayaking between the skyscraper-tall karsts of Ha Long Bay, cycling through characterful, culture-packed towns, and trekking amid the rice fields and villages of Mai Chau. You’ll spend a night in a local homestay, get lost in the compelling Cu Chi Tunnels, and learn how to make the nation’s favourite dishes at Oodles of Noodles.

Wellness journeys

Want to find your balance? G Adventures’ Wellness tours will help you build that connection to the people, places and events around you, combining healthy food experiences with well-earned R&R.

Wellness Iceland

Iceland lives and breathes tranquillity. That, and sulphur. But the two go hand-in-hand, with the island-nation’s geothermal lifeforce offering truly healing experiences. On this 7-day retreat, you’ll explore the country’s rugged and relaxing extremes, taking private transport around the geysers and waterfalls of the Golden Circle and unwinding in the milky, warm waters of the Blue Lagoon. Hike up Öskjuhlíð Hill for views across kaleidoscopic Reykjavik, mediate on Reynisfjara’s black-sand beaches, and join a yoga class at Thingvellir National Park. To top it all off, you’ll enjoy upgraded accommodation too.

Wellness Bali

Embrace calm on this 9-day Wellness Bali tour. Indeed, your only task – day and night – is to locate your spiritual side, a place of harmony found through daily yoga practices and full immersion into the healing culture here. Visit Balinese temples and partake in praise and prayer, wander along serene sands like Sanur and Pemuteran, and consume food that is made for the mind, body and soul as you go. While searching for that deep sense of self, you’ll also have opportunities to reinvigorate too: how about a refreshing dip in Munduk Waterfall?

Wellness Costa Rica

Fancy a yoga session overlooking the ash, rock and lava of Arenal Volcano? How about a mud bath in remote Rincón de la Vieja? The beauty of biodiverse Costa Rica is how in touch with nature it is, offering visitors the chance to get off the grid and focus on the vividness of their own imagination, far away from the daily grind. On this eight-day tour you’ll learn the meaning behind the country’s ‘Pura Vida’ ethos from its people and culture – particularly when visiting the Mi Cafecito Community Coffee Plantation.

The Geluxe Collection

Premium active adventures: there’s no better way to travel. Geluxe combines the thrill and ease of a group tour with comfortable, OMG-worthy accommodation, tailored itineraries, and deep community interactions.

Turkey: Ancient Cities & Hikes along the Lycian Way

Forget the beaches, Turkey is a place forged of rocks, crags, hidden coves and quaint towns and villages. And, amid it all, a rich, dramatic history. This eight-day trip explores the country’s Greek and Roman influences, the culture that pocks the Lycian Way, and the unbridled beauty of its Mediterranean shores. Indeed, it’s here, on the Turquoise Coast, where you’ll choose how to spend your ‘OMG Day’ – exploring by kayak or from land on a half-day hike. The highlight, though, is a delicious lunch with a local family in Minare.

Colombia: Andean Vistas to Guatapé & the Caribbean

Let’s get out of this town, drive out of the city, away from the crowds…

Preach, Tay-Tay! Getting off-the-beaten track on this 10-day Colombia tour is the adventure of your wildest dreams. Explore the valley city of Medellín and walled Cartagena, feel the thunder of Salto del Buey waterfall, and boat and snorkel in Barú. Find your OMG Day in Los Saltos Ecoparque, where you can zipline the forest canopy or climb a cliff face beside a waterfall. And don’t forget to try the coffee to find out what the fuss is about.

Zimbabwe & Botswana: Chobe, Hwange & Lake Kariba

If you’re looking for the Big 5 – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and African buffalo – now’s your chance. This 10-day itinerary is not for the faint of heart: you’ll spend every waking minute exploring the back of beyond in search of wildlife. Take a walking safari through underrated Matusadona National Park, glamp in Chobe, boat across Lake Kariba, and chug over Hwange in a railcar. As for your OMG Day, Victoria Falls awaits. Tour the bridge that bisects ‘The Smoke That Thunders’, or embark on a rip-roaring jet boat experience.

Japan: Kyoto, Tokyo & the Michinoku Coastal Trail

A full-day exploring Mount Fuji – Japan’s most beloved stratovolcano – or a tour tasting the very best Japanese cuisine… Decisions don’t get much more incredible than this. And thanks to Geluxe’s OMG Days, the choice is yours! As if that’s not enough, this 11-day tour from Kyoto to Tokyo walks the line between modernity and tradition. Explore charming villages, kayak Lake Tazawa (Japan’s deepest), and tramp the mountain tracks and rice fields of the Michinoku Coastal Trail. And, when you’re ready for a break, sake and hot springs are your reward.
