Travel Photo of the Year 2022 is now open for entries!

Budding photographers, the best time of the year has finally arrived! The Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year competition is now open for entries, and one of four people could be in with the chance of winning this year’s spectacular prize trip.

Whether you’re a landscape lover or know how to capture the perfect portrait, the UK’s largest photography contest is back after a two-year break, and is welcoming all photographs which highlight the essence of travel.

People category winner 2019 – You want it that big? (Bun Ngo Leung)

Entrants can apply up to four images in any of the competition’s four categories: People, Wildlife, Landscapes and Travel Icons (the latter means a classic photograph which sums up a destination, whether it be a landmark, event, etc).

Photographs entered will then be passed onto our panel of experts, who will judge each image and pick out the most soul-stirring images.

The 40 finalists – ten from each category – will then be exhibited at the Destinations Travel and Holiday Show, held in London in February 2023.

As well as the finalists having their stunning visuals blown up and put on display for all the world to see, their work could also see them win a fantastic photography trip.

The judges will ponder the visuals at the event, before announcing the four winners of the prize, which this year is an exciting adventure to Singapore.

Courtesy of Singapore Tourist Board, the winners will be jetting off for an exciting photography commissioned trip to the small, compact Asian city-state.
