Travellers to certain destinations in Indonesia now need to download this new mobile app before arrival.

Passengers flying into Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Juanda International Airport in Surabaya and Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, the airport serving the capital Jakarta, as well as those arriving at the international port in Batam will need to download the All Indonesia app for their arrival declaration.

Visitors can fill in the form up to three days before arrival. There is no cost associated with the arrival card.

The Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman said of the news, “All Indonesia is a step forward in realizing efficient public services. With this application, the arrival process at airports or ports is not only shorter and safer, but also user-friendly for all passengers – both individuals and groups – including the elderly, people with disabilities, and children.

“Indonesia wants to provide the best experience from the first step for foreign tourists and Indonesian citizens when they return to Indonesia. Therefore, we have integrated arrival cards into this system.”

The new rules came into force at the start of the month, and following a trial period it will be expanded to all airports. You can download the app on both iOS and Android through the respective app store, or on allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id.
