A total solar eclipse is due to take place in Australia in April 2023, and an aircraft charter specialist is offering passengers a rare opportunity to experience the natural phenomenon from above the clouds.

The private plane by Air Charter Service will take off from and return to Perth, flying over the Western Australia’s spectacular Coral Coast.

Passengers can admire the views of turquoise waters and golden sand beaches, before reaching a prime viewing location for watching the daylight plummet into darkness.

The eclipse will only last a few fleeting moments, but passengers will be seated on one side of the aircraft for the best possible sighting.

Caroline Wood, Air Charter Service’s Group Travel Services Director, said: “This special flight is the first of a series that we will be arranging to observe the total solar eclipse in April 2023.

“The additional flights will feature variations on the Perth round trip and we are thrilled to be sharing details on these exciting offerings.”
